I came to yoga because I couldn't breathe. My anxiety had me hyperventilating. I felt cut off from my own body - unable to feel my heart, unable to trust myselfg. Yoga met me there.
Not just the physical practice, but yoga as it exists in its fullness — the philosophy, the community, the stillness. The asana is simply the doorway. What waits on the other side is a far greater awareness.
